The report in DNA dated 30th June kind of really shocked me!. It was really devastating to know what kind of foods we are served in these so called express trains. Don't we really look forward for the most amazing meals in this long distance trains. But if they are served and cooked the way it was been mentioned then God! I would definitely carry my lunch box the next time I travel.
According to the DNA Reports, a lady named Aleta D'Souza found a metal ball bearing in her first bite of mendu wada. The metal ball seems to be covered in grease. Would anyone ever order mendu wada again in trains from now on? The images that were displayed in the DNA showed us how dirty and grimy the pantries are in Indian trains. The drinking or cooking water too are stored with just covered with mosquito nets. I mean that's just too much!
We all know that one can't expect totally hygienic foods when outside, but of course unhygienic to this end where the food is been cooked such unclean conditions that one may definitely fall sick. I however believe in the saying What the eyes do not see, the heart does not grieve (maybe I modified it a little bit) ! But once you know about it, then the impression stays for a long time. Hopefully after reading this report the Indian trains would come up with some hygienic solutions!!
Thanks DNA for letting us know!
