ICC World Cup 2011 Venues

India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka together play as the host for ICC World Cup 2011. Around 28 matches will be hosted by India, 12 by Sri Lanka and 8 matches by Bangladesh. That makes India the main host and one more important fact is that the final match for ICC World Cup 2011 will be played in India.

In India: 

Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi – 4 matches
Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad – 2 matches / 1 quarter final
Eden Garden Stadium, Kolkata – 4 matches
Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai – 2 Matches / 1 Final
Mohali Stadium, Punjab – 2 Matches / 1 Semi Final
M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai – 4 Matches
Vidharbha Cricket Association, Nagpur – 4 Matches
M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore – 4 Matches

In Sri Lanka:

R. Premdasa Stadium, Colombo – 5 Matches/ 1 Quarter Final/ 1 Semi Final
Pallekele International Cricket Stadium – 3 Matches
Suriyawewa Stadium – 2 Matches

In Bangladesh:

Chittagong Divisional Stadium – 2 Matches
Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium – 4 Matches / 2 Quarter Final
